- Day 1: Lilu won Best Puppy in Sweepstakes (she beat all bitches and dogs aged 6 months-18 months old); she then went on and wont 3rd place in her class for regular classes
- Day 2: Lilu won Winners Bitch (finishing her championship with a 5 pt major), then went Best of Winners and on to Best of Breed Owner Handled– she topped the day off with an OH group 3. On this day she also tested for and passed her CGCA & CGCU (she already had her CGC, TKN, TKI, & TKA through classes with Pam Leland)

- Peach and Sparkle earned their BCAT in 6 straight runs. Sparkle also competed at the SCKC Scent Work trials on September 27 and 28 earning two legs in advanced buried, two legs in advanced buried, two legs in advanced interior-including a smoking first place 28 seconds ahead of second place-, two legs in novice handler discrimination including a 1st place and a 4th place to finish her novice handler discrimination title. She is Sage’s daughter so the fabulous nose comes naturally!
Black Powders Don’t Stop Me Now, CGCA CGCU TKN
- Julius at 13 months old went and competed at the BRT Nationals
- Day 1: 2nd place puppy in his class for sweeps and 2nd place in his class in the regular classes
- Day 2: 2nd place in his class and he passed ad earned his CGCA, CGCU & TKN (he already had his CGC)
- Day 3: 1st in his class
Nozenears Faithful Trinity of the Groves
- “Trinity”, bloodhound puppy, co-owned by Kasie McGee and marlene Groves finished her Championship in style at Topeka. She was under the capable hands of Paul Catterson. Pretty impressive for a member of a low entry breed, and to get it done at just one year old! Now, on the search and rescue training in earnest!

Naissur Trip to the Candy Store
- Our Black Russian National at Purina Farms was this month followed by 3 all breed shows. It was the largest entry ever with 37 specials. "Trip" with Lian made the final cut of 4 males. He made the cut the next two days and won the breed on Sunday and a group 2

- WE DID it! We managed to dodge any really bad weather and had a great Easter day test!
- Brian held down the secretary desk and handled all the glitches and paper-work like a champ!
- THANK YOU to all our helpers and handlers. we had at least 8 new titles, maybe more but I lost track.
- We ran 44 dogs in the AM. 14 of which were German Shepherd dogs wow, the GSD really helped with our overall entries!
- We had 39 actual runs in the PM with a finish by 2:15.
- We don't have a final totals on our Profit for the event but I know it was more than we expected given it was a Easter Sunday.

Kirlyn Fouts sends in the following brag for his Afghan Hound “Bruiser”.
The Afghan Hound Club of America held their National Specialty in Greeley last week. “Bruiser” won BEST OF OPPOSITE SEX.
The next day at The Afghan Hound Club of Greater Denver, he went 1st Award of Merit.
He rounded out the weekend at the Sunday Evergreen Show by going Select Male, placing him within 30 points of his Gold Grand Championship.
Kirlyn and Eric co own him with Shylo Afghans, where he resides due to his extreme demand on coat care and exercise facilities.
